My Manic Monday
Happy Day-after Valentines Day:
- This weekend was valentines day weekend. What's the point, anyways? Valentines is a reminder to love, which shouldn't be forced? But I see a lot of forced love on Valentines. Hmm..
- Toy Story 3 trailer! What an incredible series of Movies. One of the best. Besides the obvious, Lord of the Rings, Matrix... You get the idea.
- This week, at Campus Life, I'm doing a talk on Racism. Is there anything that I should mention? Talking about how Racism effects our lives and as people of faith, we should be living a life of repentance in every area of life. Even unbelievers recognize Racism as being alive and well, even in the deep south, where Religion rules.
- YouTube is now 5 years old. Whoa. I feel old? Or just really cultured... I remember when Google bought YouTube. That was huge.
- How Obama's favorite theologian shaped his first year in office. Interesting read.
- Microsoft just threw down the gauntlet on Apple and other mobile companies: Windows Phone 7. But dang, that's a long name? iPhone vs. Windows Phone 7. You know who I'm pulling for.
- Finally: are you using Google Buzz? If so, add me: http://www.google.com/profiles/jwmoss88
Spring season, come quick!!

My Manic Monday
- This weekend we had a snowmageddon. It was awesome. I went home and played at least 15 hours of Call of Duty.
- Last Wednesday, Apple released the iPad. I think it sucks, but it has a lot of potential.
- So the Grammy's, Taylor Swift made out like a bandit! But she dropped a Grammy on the floor. Kanye West, now this?
- Last week I went and took some pictures of Chris Johnston (@chrisljohnston). This shot is my favorite picture of the whole shoot. What do you think about it?
- And finally: it's supposed to snow again this weekend, here in Raleigh?! What?
Have a fun week all.

My Manic Monday
- Apple announced today that on January 27th, they're having an event, with the tagline "Come see our Latest Creation." Crossing my fingers for an updated iPhone? Tablet? Who knows.
- I'm still on Christmas Break. I love it. Everyone else has gone to back to school, and I'm straight chillen on this long break. RIGHT ON.
- The whole tragedy in Haiti has really been something that hasn't grabbed my attention, except when I see pictures like these: Haiti pictures.
- This weekend, I heard an incredible re-make of Miley Cyrus' song, "Party in the USA." Check it - "Every band in the USA" .. by the way, the whole video was made on an iPhone 3GS.
- The Book of Eli came out this weekend. Anyone see it? I've heard only good things about the movie so far. What do you think?
- And finally, if you have a Smartphone, download foursquare. And read here why you need to be using it.
Till next time.

My (late) Manic Monday
Dangit. I missed a day. I'm a dummy:
- So this weekend, I attended Advance '09, with speakers like John Piper, Mark Driscoll, and Matt Chandler. It rocked my world.
- I took notes during the conference, which you can see here: Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3. Here is a list of all the audio in once place.
- I visited The Summit on Sunday, which was awesome! I love what J.D. Greear is doing.
- For those who haven't followed anything that Apple has done, on Monday, Apple came out with a new iPhone with Video and updated their MacBook Pro's (which are cheaper now).
- And I don't care for the iPhone, because AT&T sucks. And I want to wait until it comes to Verizon. That would be awesome.
- Pray for a Pastor who fell into sin that forced him to resign from his position as a Pastor. Pray for grace to fall on his family and God to lead him through this hard time.
- Which reminds me, don't think too highly of yourself, you can fall just like the Pastor did. Seek Christ in everything and be held accountable!
- I'm living at home until July, when I get to move into a house with some friends from school. Living at home is cool and all, but it gets old. Especially since I've lived on my own for so long. Saving money is nice though.
- And finally: if you care about sin and getting rid of idols in your life, then listen to this message.
Peace and Love.
